Laze/Mcnamee - A story of excellence! We were unbelievably lucky to be referred to John at Laze Executive Travel in Glasgow by one his clients, one of the world’s top security people. John coached us in our choice of route, hotels, restaurants, and sites to see, from Edinburgh to Inverness, Fort William, Isle of Mull, the Jacobite Train, Oban, Glasgow, and finally Cairnryan, where we caught the ferry to Belfast. John’s attitude was professional, congenial, caring, and full of humour. His Mercedes van was comfortable and always spotless. We could “storybook” our time in Scotland. John is an amazing resource for us when we are in Scotland. He’s picked us up and driven us places on a number of occasions. He’s a friendly guy, professional, knowledgeable and extremely personable, and his vans are pristine, comfortable and thoughtfully include a basket of snacks and refreshments. Last week on a trip to Glasgow from Oban my daughter dropped her ring in his van, and when John found it later, he sent it to us. Can’t recommend his services enough!

'No problems, only solutions'....we hired John to be our driver for a very large gathering of Americans joining us for two weeks in Argyll. We could not have found someone who more truly lived by those words, which he repeated often during our time together. From driving 30-plus people to-and-fro, assisting us with provisioning, running for last minute necessities (More wine! More bottled water!), to introducing us to Tunnock’s Caramel Wafers (curse you John!), he had a solution for everything and anything. He cared for us and our guests with professionalism, discretion, and great sensitivity. When our youngest, who had never flown alone, looked to be stranded at the Glasgow airport overnight, John followed the progress of the flight to ensure our son was finally onboard at midnight, even after he was technically off duty. His willingness to go above and beyond is something we haven’t often encountered and made a significant contribution to the success of our event. More than his professional manner, John has a way of making everyone comfortable and like they are no trouble at all. No problems for this man, only solutions. Can’t recommend highly enough!
